What is happening right now

A short digest: what is planned for the coming days, and what happened recently. Everything reaches our Telegram channel first — here it is gathered in one place.

We post the latest about gatherings and camps on our Telegram channel.

Sunday, 11:00

The Sunday service

We gather for worship, teaching and prayer. The service usually runs about an hour and a half, and afterwards we stay for coffee and conversation — often for longer than the service itself.

Sunday school runs for children during the service, so parents can stay in the room. Once a month we break bread together, and we pray regularly for healing — and hear from those who have received it.

There's no dress code, no collection at the door, and nobody will ask you to introduce yourself in front of everyone.

Day camps and children's programmes

Several times a year we run multi-day daytime programmes for children. The last one, "The Secret Case", was a detective game — with puzzles, sketches, songs, a bouncy castle and prizes.

In summer we add a water day, park trips and team games. Everything is run by our volunteers, and taking part is completely free — including for families with no connection to us at all.

Dates for the next sessions go up on Telegram several weeks in advance.

During the week

Youth, home group and women's evenings

Beyond Sunday there are several smaller things — and that's usually where people really get to know each other.

Youth club

For teenagers, Sundays at 16:00. Friendship, laughter and new faces — plus conversations about things that aren't always easy to raise at home.

Home group

Wednesdays at 18:00. A smaller circle, reading the Bible together, prayer and ordinary conversation over tea. A good place to start if a big gathering feels daunting.

Women's evenings

Evenings around a shared table — conversation, workshops, unhurried time. Dates are announced as they come.

Volleyball and picnics

In spring and summer we play volleyball and head to Lisia Góra park for picnics — barbecue, a playground for the children, bikes and ice cream.

Questions

Before you come

What language are the gatherings in?

Our community grew up among Ukrainian speakers, so services are mostly in Ukrainian. We increasingly translate into Polish and are glad to help you find your feet — message us before you come and we'll arrange it.

Do I need to register first?

No. For the service and the home group you can simply turn up. We only take registrations for the children's day camps, where places are limited.

What does it cost?

Nothing. All our gatherings and children's programmes are free. We are funded by voluntary donations — nobody collects money at the door.

I have a small child — what happens during the service?

Sunday school runs during the service, led by our volunteers. Younger children are also perfectly welcome to stay with their parents in the room — it bothers no one.

I'd like to help as a volunteer

Please do — day camps, music, children's work and tech are always short of hands. Fill in the application form or just write to us.
